What Our Pest Control Work Covers

Last updated: October 2026

Minnesota Pest Pros provides residential and commercial pest control services across Minnesota, including ant extermination, mouse and rat removal, bed bug treatment, cockroach control, wasp nest removal, spider control, mosquito and tick programs, and exclusion work such as sealing rodent entry points. All pesticide applications follow the product label directions required under EPA FIFRA and Minnesota Statutes Chapter 18B, and our structural pest control work is performed under the licensing standards of Minnesota Statutes Chapter 18G and the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.

Some situations require a separate written agreement. Bat exclusion is handled with care for Minnesota’s protected bat species rules, and we follow Minnesota Department of Natural Resources guidance on timing and methods.

Wildlife removal beyond common rodents, structural repairs, mold remediation, and cleanup of heavy infestations may be quoted separately. We will tell you clearly if your request falls outside our standard scope before any work begins.

Booking, Rescheduling, and Cancellations

Appointments can be scheduled by phone or email. Once we confirm a date and arrival window, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move the visit. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a trip fee, which we will explain before it applies.

If our technician arrives and the scope of work has changed for example, activity has spread to additional rooms or a new pest has appeared we will stop, explain the findings, and get your approval before performing any work beyond the original agreement. No extra treatments happen without your sign-off.

Weather can affect outdoor services such as mosquito or wasp treatments. If conditions make treatment unsafe or ineffective, we will reschedule at the earliest available opening at no additional cost to you.

Quotes, Pricing, and Payment Terms

Before work begins, we provide a written estimate based on the inspection findings and the treatments recommended. Estimates state the scope of service, the products planned, and the total price. For most standard treatments, the quoted price is what you pay; if conditions change during the job, any additional cost requires your approval first.

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are made in writing. We accept payment by phone, on site, and through invoicing for approved commercial accounts. Ongoing service plans are billed per the schedule stated in your agreement, and you may cancel recurring plans with notice as described in that agreement.

We do not add hidden fees after the fact. If a product, disposal step, or follow-up visit affects the price, it appears on your estimate before you commit.

Our Workmanship Warranty

Minnesota Pest Pros stands behind the quality of the treatments and exclusion work we perform. If covered pest activity returns within the warranty period stated on your service agreement, we will return and re-treat at no additional charge. The specific duration of coverage varies by service for example, follow-up periods for bed bug or roach programs differ from exclusion work and the exact terms are listed on your invoice or plan agreement.

Coverage applies only to the areas and pests included in the original treatment. The warranty may be voided if conditions change after our visit, such as new entry points created by construction, sanitation issues that attract pests, unapproved repairs that disturb treated areas, or denial of access for a recommended follow-up.

If you believe a warranty re-treatment is needed, contact us and we will schedule an inspection promptly.

Limits on Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from services performed is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage caused by pests before our first visit, including structural damage from carpenter ants, termites, or rodents, or for losses caused by conditions we did not create and could not reasonably identify during inspection.

All pesticide use follows the label directions and restrictions required under EPA FIFRA and Minnesota Statutes Chapter 18B, and our applicators are licensed through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. We follow OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, for handling and documenting chemical products on site. Pesticide containers are disposed of according to the product label.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where Minnesota law does not permit such a limitation.

I grew up in Minnesota and started in pest control helping homeowners track down how mice and insects were getting into older houses. I built this company to give people clear explanations and practical treatment plans that account for our long winters, spring thaw, and the pests that come with each season.
